FAO Dolly I made this in a souffle dish and put in the freezer. After thawing overnight, I piled some raspberries on top with a sprinkling of icing sugar and we had it straight out of the dish as a pudding with creme fraiche. It was delicious. Although we had it cold, I dare say it could be warmed through in the microwave beforehand.

Is this the Nigella recipe?
Yes, it is and I only put it in the freezer as an experiment. I like to know what freezes well so that I don't have too many last-minute tasks to do when cooking for friends. Even when I don't think there's much left to do, faffing around always takes twice as long as I think it should!
