I agree - they're delicious - I always make and freeze a big batch of them for Christmas - now I'm thinking...maybe make some this weekend!

Absolutely - I forgot to say I used justroll. The wow was for the filling - it is unbelievably good. If making for 1st time the mixture will seem very dry but keep mixing. It eventually is just tacky a bit like sausage meat would be. You can just squidge it into a sausage shape with your finger on your rolled pasty and it will hold it's shape.

Hope you enjoy them if you have a go.

This year I have bought justroll shortcrust as well for mince pies - time is too short a the moment to start completely from scratch :)
