Re: Marinated rump steak - delish

Made this last evening, only marinated the steak for 5 hours as that was all the time I had.
As Delia says, "Oh so easy, oh so delicious". It was gorgeous. Had to have it with cauliflower cheese as the cauli had to be used; still good.

Hi Dolly, it's here on site. Search Delia's recipes for steak and it's called Marinated Rump Steak. I like cooking with worcestershire sauce, part of the marinade with soy sauce if I remember, plus some garlic.

I had a large piece of steak, marinated and cooked it in one piece, then sliced it up. Very elegant for me :0)
Cooked it for a bit longer than the recipe says as it was quite thick and we don't like our steak red in the middle.
Hope you enjoy it. It's one I will be making again, added to my now growing list :0)

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. I'll be making it again very soon and with the cheesy potato this time.

I like it when people run a thread asking for favourite Delia dishes as it always brings up something I've not encountered before.
