Further to Helenb's recommendation for Tarantella baked beans from Costco, I bought some Tarantella organic tinned tomatoes. Absolutely lovely. Full of flavour and quite the best I have tasted.

Could not agree more - best ever tinned toms and all I ever buy now, nothing else comes anywhere near close... Their kidney beans are also very good!

Thanks for the recommendation, Lin. Will have to keep an eye out for them. My newsagent gets his stuff there, so I'll see if he's got them in his little grocery shop. Talking of tinned tomatoes, we bought some while we were in France recently - they were really yuk. Really really hard, I wouldn't say they were inedible, but just very hard. Glad to get a tin of proper soft toms back in the UK - they are much better here.
