My talented husband has just made Vietnamese beef patties plus cracked potatoes with melting cheese & spring onions, with green salad. Deeelicious! The red wine served with it was great too.!

Well done EG's husband!! Still trying to get mine interesting in cooking rather than just eating what I cook. His standard reply is "but you're so good at it and mine would pale in comparison" - I wouldn't care, I fall for it everytime. He's so full of sh*t his eyes are brown but I let him away with it! (Oh, by the way, he really does have brown eyes.)

This is the third menu he's done from How to Cheat and it's entirely down to Delia. He watched her programme earlier on in the year and asked for the book for his birthday in May. She achieved something that I wasn't able to in nearly thirty-two years of marriage!

Yes Cat. Page 129. My husband forget the jalepenos so put tabasco in the sauce instead. Yum.

They do sound delish EG, I missed it too. Going to have a look at the book now. Minced some nice beef just the other day for a lasagne when daughter and family visit from the Uk tomorrow............but think I (you) may have just changed my mind !!! :0)))
