You Can Do it too !!!

I didn’t think I’d do it,
In fact at first I had a doubt,
And then, once I got started
all the words came tumbling out !!

Stanza’s, couplets, lines that scanned
I still don’t know just what they mean,
But I know that I enjoy it
When the words rhyme nice and clean.

And if you can make somebody happy
With a few lines of written prose
Then it makes your day, to hear them say
“Those are the words I would have chose”

“If only “I” could do it”,
and then I say to them
Give it a try, and don’t be shy,
You could create a Gem.

To give another person a few words upon page
Said from the heart, while you’re apart
Will mean the world to them.

So, Pencils at the ready,
It’s within you all you know,
Let’s get this party started
And “a Rhyming” we’ll all go !!!
