Re: knots for elastic thread (beading)

Hi;
I'm trying to make a bracelet by stringing beads onto elastic thread; however all of the knots I have tried are slipping! All of the sites I have visited have suggested reef knots held with a little glue; does anyone have any other suggestions for knots I can try please?

Thanks!

That is the way I do it, BUT I now only do beads on wire.
I think they are much safer.

I think the little dab of superglue is going to be safest, Gil, you can buy it in a bottle with a brush, like nail varnish, which is more accutate than dripping drops I find.

Thanks, folks. I'll look for some glue, and maybe get some wire. There's a site I've found which does wire for bracelets at 10p each. (don't know how competitive that is!)
