my 3 red pepper plants are now huge bushes, and every time I think there are fruit buds at last they turn out to be more leaves, I planted some yellow seeds last week and they are already over 1 inch high.
I thought of feeding the big plants, but was told by a neighbour not to until they flower ( if ever )

Hi Nanny, sorry I've been away in Ireland and just finding time to have a wander round Delia - I wouldn't feed the plants either while they're in such a leafy mood, but when they do calm down and start making flowers they'll be all the better for being such good healthy plants. Take big old leaves off, if they're looking a bit crowded. You seem to be getting the old green fingers, don't you!

Now don't go using flyspray - you need those little pollinators :-))) Oh it's like having a baby all over again...

nanny- i seem to be a few weeks ahead of you on the pepper front (well that would make sense as it is pretty hot here!) and i have finally got some peppers- about the size of eggs at the moment (and all my neighbours are picking theirs now, so i'm a bit behind!) anyway- just wanted to let you know- you should have peppers soon!!
