hi Biggs- thank-you i will check it out- the ones i had before from here were treated (by my neighbours) but still not very nice, i tried to make them taste better by doing lemon and coriander marinades and that sort of thing but they were still pretty yucky!! but when ours are ready i will have a go- perhaps they just need soaking longer or something, will do some research thanks for the link :-)

Tee hee, thought it might be sort of right for you. I was chatting with someone, in Greece I think and I was amazed at the lenghty process for getting the olives to an edible state. Their olives were gorgeous. Different families have different recipes and all that :0)))))
