but i really need to find something.......regarding AOL...
I am hoping that i won't get shouted at...had no idea where to put this.
But AOL used to be my internet provider until i fell out with them.......but luckily i still have access to my email address.
I want to know, if anyone uses AOL, and can help me....
I need to find an email i was sent about 2-3 months ago, may have been longer i can;t remember.
when i go to look at old emails, it will only take me 31st July.
I have tried typing into the search box the senders email address and what i think may have been the title of the email sent to me....and it always comes up "can't find your request"......I probably deleted it....or once read, it disapears from my inbox anyway without me deleting it.....I hope this is making sense to someone.
but i really do need to find this email, as important info is on it.
Please help me someone!

If you use a disc clean-up, as I do regularly, you may find that old stuff gets cleared off Sam. My old stuff only goes back to July, and I haven't deliberately removed them.
You could ask in a computer repair shop - they have wonderful geeky blokes who can go onto your hard disc and find this sort of thing, it will cost you but if it's important ... ? Meanwhile maybe try to look in your recycle bin.

I've found that my deleted e-mails don't go into the bin Sam, they just seem to disappear into the ether... I presume it's out of the question to go back and request the information again? If not... blame the pooter, I always do! I don't get away with it though, my OH always says it's operator error.
I think this can still have been put on Coffee Break Sam. This is the creative bit! No one has changed the rules. I interpret "What's eating you" as what is bothering you. Let's face it, unless we are talking about the number of mossies that are about, there is nothing literally eating me!!! So you are bothered about finding this e-mail and so it seems appropriate to me to go on Coffee Break.
Honey :-x
It may be worth investigating 'properties' or suchlike to see where AOL stores your emails; then go to that location (it may be 'hidden' but you can get there ) and see if there are older versions of files you can access.
