If you buy those little desserts, do you just throw the empty jars in the recycling box or have you found uses for them? I currently have several in the freezer with small amounts of herbs from the garden and two are in the fridge with left overs. I also find I use them to pop prepared shallots in till I'm ready to cook them as the plastic top keeps the smell contained. And they're useful for cracking eggs into. I'd welcome any other ideas. x x
I dont buy them anymore, they are not very nice in my opinion....

Depends which, James. Some I love, others not. Did you enjoy your hols - again?! x x

Dolly, I can't bring myself to chuck them out! And they stack nicely, too. I'll try your ideas, Blondie. If I still had small children here they'd be great for paints! x x
I put dog treats in them for when we are out on walks.

little individual trifles. and choc mousse. and for pate.
mine don;t stack though as they bottom sort of bows out, have kept the lids too, plastic mine are!
If you keep the plastic lids they make a lovely gift-sized pot for jams and jellies, I pretty them up with circles of fabric cut with pinking shears.
I've never tried an sweet from Gu. What I have are are some terracotta pots from M&S's creme brulee. I use them for sauces & dips
