We have just arrived home from a morning and a bit in Ludlow, which included a visit to The Ludlow Food Centre which is actually just off the A.49, in Bromfield. It's absolutely fab and well worth a visit if you're ever in the area. Loads and loads of fresh produce (mostly locally produced and hand-made in their kitchens, and some wonderful other locally made products, e.g. English Cassis, fresh pasta, breads, fruit juices a butchery, pastries .... OMG, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven - well we both did really. Oh, forgot about the counter of super locally produced cheeses and other dairy products - ice cream, yogurt, milks, etc. They also have a Conservatory Barn Cafe, where you can get great breakfasts and lunches, at reasonable prices. We had a wholemeal bap filled with fried Old Spot bacon. There's also a small post office, and conference facilites on the complex. It's a great local enterprise, and you can check it out on www.ludlowfoodcentre.co.uk, tel: 01584.856000 We will certainly be going back.
Hi Michele - we have been to The Ludlow Food Centre lots of times on day trips to Ludlow. I agree, it's really good. Pleased you enjoyed yourselves.
