have just cut up loads of these, bagged them and put them in the freezer, when I come to use them do I cook them from frozen or defrost them first (I haven't blanched them )

I would cook them from frozen as you would for commercially frozen veg, but I haven't actually tried!

I always out mine into boiling water , have never defrosted them

I dont think you need to defrost any veg to cook it from frozen Nanny. I certainly never do.

I've frozen Broccoli (not blanched) and used it recently, still nice and green. I also have bags of mixed frozen leeks, carrots, swedes which I use for casseroles. I never defrost my frozen veg so you should be ok Nanny. Dottie Mayx
