message edited by Board Moderator, please do not type in capitals - many thanks

I had an old book containing how to use store and cook veggies. Cooking equipment of course recipes. It was hard back and I have no idea of the title. Only that it was green! And it was landscape in shape and quite chunky. Do you recognise this description? I do hope so. Thanks.

Hi

My good housekeeping cookery book has all that in it. it also has a lot on freezing and storing stuff which I find useful.

Could it be Readers Digest " The Cookery Year " ? It's the right shape and has a green spine and pictures of fruit and veg on the cover. I've had my copy for 25 years or so and it has always been one of my favourite cookery reference books.

Hi Kath I agree that it sounds like Readers Digest 'The Cookery Year'' My version is Green and is Landscape. Really handy book . There is an upto date version on amazon but i can see you could get a copy on ebay for £1.49 plus postage. Best cookery book that I have ever had!

Thank you all so much, all I know is that it was a Delia book, and it must have been at least twenty years old if not more. Thanks again Lynn
