..if the doctor told you you had the galloping gunkies and you couldn't eat any more cheesecake ever, which one would you eat as your "last cheesecake supper"? Just thinking about you as I am having a piece of the one I made yesterday. made some blackcurrant and raspberry coulis to go with it and it is wonderful..............

I'm not Dolly (as you can see) but I'm a cheesecake junkie. My last cheesecake supper would definately have to be TC's Honeycomb one.
It's truly "to die for"!

Hi TDS & RP,
My White Choc & Raspberry one but TC's is very good as RP says....
I have just answered Biggs on my earlier thread as she has asked for another recipe for one, as she doesn't like raspberries....I have suggested the Key Lime Pie in my profile which is another lovely one....
oh I forgot about the Bailey's one, that is also good.....
I was just going to start another thread on cheesecakes just to say I have 5 to try at the mo....
Toblerone, Mars Bar, Tiramisu, Simply Sinful and one other which I am not going to mention until I have made it....
TDS, glad you are enjoying yours......
I made the white choc & rasp one for my daughter's birthday (not until tuesday) but she went out with friends last night and took it to the restaurant.
Every time it is one of their birthdays, they request this cheesecake and take it to whichever restaurant they are going to....saves them having to buy dessert....it fed 11 last night, never any leftover....

Must try TC's cheesecake, it's had great reviews and your recommendation has just put the icing on the cake!

Oh heck Dolly - now I've got to try several cheesecakes, they sound delicious. I'm not (normally) a dessert-y person but I do like cheesecake. Better organise several dinner parties for help in eating cheesecakes.

Do you think we should initiate a National Cheesecake Day? Maybe Dolly's birthday. Tee hee.

Welcome to the forum, Blowaraspberry. Sounds like you and Dolly have a lot in common, so you'll probably become fast friends. Inseparable even. ;-)

I mentioned on the other Cheesecake thread that I'm normally not a "Sweet/Dessert" person but I do like cheesecakes occasionally. All the above sound delicious so will have to try them out. Hope I can get all the recipes. Cheesecake Day sounds a great idea on Dolly's birthday in April. Dottie Mayx

It's a name my dad always gave to conditions, illnesses or whatever that had no particular name. Don't know where it came from. He had strange names for lots of things. he always called huge doorstep sandwiches "Dagwood Bumsteads". I only found out a couple of years ago that it was the name of a comedian of days gone by.

My last cheesecake? My polish friends mothers polish one - she won't give me the recipe - I've only been asking for the last 26 years!!!
