a while ago i asked a question about these bags...
.....well i have to say .....they are marvellous....
so much easier than the old fashioned cheesy toaster machine, like brevilles..
you can pop the bags in the dish washer, or wash out in warm soapy water,
have had plain cheese, cheese and tom, cheese and marmite, cheese and ham, cheese and onion, cooked bacon, cheese and baked beans, tuna mayo, have even cooked fish fingers in them......
I really like this new find of mine - and your recommendations.
Sammy
Hi Sam, sorry to sound stupid, where do you put your toast bags to cook.??????????
They go into the toaster Sue. They do work too.
Lin
In the toaster Sue....hence the name Toast-a-bags....you basically make a cheese sandwich (or whatever) and pop it into your toaster...3 mins later a perfect toasted cheese sarnie!!!!!!
ya think it would work with cling film???
;-0 lol
Hi Rob; no cling film wouldl melt and stick to the bread. Also, buy good toast bags, Lakeland are the best, I've had mine for three years. My daughter bought some JLM or something and they only lasted a few months. Try banana toasties with honey or maple syrup poured over the banana before they go into the bag. Delicious!
I know someone once who tried to iron a black bag (ya know the kind you put your rubbish out in???)...he did it just to see if it would work!!! His partner spent days trynig to pick out bits of black plastic from the iron...poor love!!!
ROB!!!! Behave!

JB, its TRUE I tell you...totally true! she ditched him not long after that...i think the crunch came when he said he was leaving her for another woman, and if it didnt work out, he would come back, so would she mind waiting.....true story....
.....anyway, digress...Lakeland sell these bags? I am going there (Canterbury) this weekend.....
...back to my assignment
